It's the fox from my latest deviation, only in humanoïd form, AKA his real form. He used to be like that minus the tails and with shorter hair. (I made his hair longer only recently, because the RPG revived and we decided to add 10 years to the original story, so I decided to change his look)
Jeezus, I never know where to put those friggin nine tails. Next will probably be less complicated, and lighter in color.
Don't steal this character, he's another of my baby.
The title only brings one thing to mind: Con: "I am the Flame Master! Now watch as I walk through the flames unhurt! Unhurt! Oh, shit..."

"Hello and welcome to the heavenly check-in station. Please, no cutting in line. If you are caught cutting in line, you will be sent straight to hell." -Dragon Ball Z Abridged -- "It's the music that we choose..." -Gorillaz, "19-2000"
This is really nice work! And putting 9 flaming tails on a humanoid isn't easy. Thanks for commenting on and faving my work!

What first caught my attention in this picture was the fact that his cloak is semitransparent. It made me curious about the character. I like the way you coloured the tails, too, they really look like a wall of flames.
As for hopefully constructive criticism, his pose seems a bit stiff, but if you meant the picture as character introduction, it's not necessarily a bad thing. He also seems to be falling slightly backwards. I'm not entirely sure whether that's due his overall pose, or just his right foot/boot. It lacks a visible heel, which means that visually, it gives him little support. But both of these are rather small matters for me, not to mention that maybe his tails are supporting his weight at this moment, so losing balance is out of question.
One thing that bothers me a bit more about the picture is your use of multiple lines, here especially the outlines of the tails. It looks sketchy, as if you weren't really aiming for a serious picture, just scribbled something and then coloured it. If that was your intention, everything's alright of course, but if you used a bit cleaner lines, it would grow a level in quality in my eyes. On the other hand, a good thing is that the lines of his tails seem to be lighter than the outlines of his body. That's a good trick, it makes the flames seem more real.
Ah, before I forget, I love his expression He has that half bored, half annoyed look of an artist's victim: "Hey... are you finished? Can I move already? Come on... Draw a bit quicker..."
I hope you have a lot of fun with the RPG!

Which makes me thinks that I rarely think about drawing the heels with my character's shoes, I'll probably think about it a lot more (devART comments are usually my best reminders ) And of course my characters are my best victims.... Anyway, thanks again, you made my day!
It's not only about shoe heels, but about the shape of the leg, too. Really, try it out for yourself. Stand up, barefooted, on an even ground, and then look at your own foot. The heel will be slightly backwards from the back line of the ankle (the Achilles tendon). If you sway lightly forward and backward, there will be a moment your balance depends on your heels - and it can be so because the heel is rather prominent. So draw your characters so that they can keep the same balance you can The shoe then only follows the contours of the foot. At least something like that is how I'm trying to draw feet I'm not exactly great at it either.
And that's a great compliment I'm glad.

Everyone needs to improve something, and feet tend to be among the "favourite" subjects.
Funny is how often what people draw resemble themselves in something. It can be shape of lips, or figure, or hands... Simply something. I guess many of us learn by looking in the mirror.

After I think we are always the best reference to ourself somehow, and I really need to improve on my feet drawing anyway!
Thanks again for taking the time to comment!
